Because it seems the CD Set for the Hitch Hiker Listen For Pleasure Audio Books was popular, I have decided to share my DVD of the same audio books. I made this for myself to save me having to get up to change the CD?s all the time (after all there were nine in the set). The DVD is an IMAGE FILE that can be burned with NERO, DVD Decrypter and other software. This DVD will play in any DVD player, it has a menu for navigation and each of the 4 books is in an uninterrupted file, not split into parts as was necessary on the CD?s. A preview PDF document for the menu?s screens is here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/j19zoi NOTE: These are NOT the BBC ones, these are the Listen For Pleasure set ? read by Stephen Moore who played Marvin in the BBC TV Series and in my opinion are the best set. There are some drop-outs and other artefacts but not hardly any, the Cassette Tapes were old even before the capability of writing CD?s was available. I made them into CD?s as soon as I bought my first writer so I couldn?t have made them any better, I find them of very good quality, after all they cannot be bought any more. I have also included the artwork for the DVD Cover and CD Labels (both full face and standard), which match the menus on the DVD ? these can be printed manually from PSP or Photoshop, a PowerPoint file of the DVD Cover that is ready to print as well as Epson CD Templates for the Full face and Standard DVD Labels. If you intend to play this through a TV, I suggest turning off the bass or sub-woofer and setting the audio to 2 stereo, the best solution though is to play it from your DVD player through a hi-fi. I hope you like this idea ? I find it the best way to listen to these fantastic books.
