My brother has read through "The Physics of Star Trek" and what he told me was it does just about everything to say what they show in star trek is impossible, essentially on the basis that we can't do it today and we don't have any form of accepted physics that says we can do it ever.
I think the better choice for trekkies/trekkers is the book Physics of the Impossible by Michio Kaku, just on the basis that he's open minded enough to consider that a race that's 100's to 1,000,000's of years old Just might be able to do some of the things shown in star trek, and even other sci-fi shows.
Krauss is just one of the latest in a line of "because-it-hasn't-happened-yet-it-can't-be-done" debunkers like those who told galileo the earth was flat on the basis it hasn't been sailed to prove it, the wright brothers you couldn't fly, the X-1 people you couldn't break the sound barrier, space enthusiasts you couldn't go into space and so on. Time will prove Krauss and many other "scientists" they were wrong, just wait and see.
Just as Sir Arthur C. Clarke said, "When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible he is very probably wrong." -
